Jeanette Anne Bellon
Ms. Bellon has the rare combination of being both a trial and appellate attorney. Prior to founding Bellon Law, P.A., she was partner at a boutique Miami defense law firm running the law firm's first party property division in Miami. In this position, she represented numerous property insurance carriers. Ms. Bellon also second chaired a number of cases with high medical demands by handling the damage issues at trial and assisted in obtaining complete defense verdicts.
Additionally, through-out her legal career, Ms. Bellon has handled all aspects of litigation including jury and bench trials, appeals, arbitrations, and mediations. Ms. Bellon has also obtained multiple defense verdicts. She further has handled multiple successful appeals, having won in all five of Florida's District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. For the past two years, Ms. Bellon has been recognized by her peers as a Rising Star in appeals through Super Lawyers.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Ms. Bellon earned her B.F.A., summa cum laude, from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where she concentrated in film studies and theatre. Ms. Bellon earned her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh. While in law school, she was a law clerk and interned at the Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel, assisting with representing those who could not afford defense counsel. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Bellon had a successful career in film and television production.
